More Brushing Problems

I probably should have guessed that this problem would manifest itself in a few additional ways down the line.  We baked apple pie this past weekend.  Lola helped by dumping the ingredients into the bowl, mix-mix-mixing, and using the pastry brush to brush the egg wash . . . . into her hair.  On a side note, the pie turned out really good and I highly recommend the Southern Living recipe.
