A double scoop, please

During a vocabulary lesson with one of my students recently, we came across the word "Cosmopolitan."  I asked if he had any idea what the word meant and received an emphatic "no".  I asked him to think about ANY context in which he may have heard that word in the past (expecting perhaps a reference to the magazine, the drink, or a cosmopolitan area.)  Instead I got - ice cream. 
No darling, that NEApolitan.  Nice try.
