Melon - Part 3 of 4

I will warn you, this is the beginning of a three-week stretch of foods that I am completely unfamiliar with (most likely because I tend to avoid eating fruits and vegetables that are as big as a baby.) Last week (35) was a honeydew - which is only slightly bigger than a cataloupe and always seems to come in the same mixed fruit salad, so I figured it wasn't worth an individual post. This week (36) is a crenshaw melon; according to the website, it is about 6 pounds and 18.5 inches from top to bottom, and the second-to-last melon that we will be working with.
