Northern Exposure

We had a wonderful visit to Ridgefield, CT to see Rivi and Papa Doug this past weekend.  Despite a 10 hour adventure of traveling which ended with a 2:00 am arrival at LaGuardia, we had so much fun spending time with the Bardens, the Ipris, and our brand new nephew, Oliver (or as Lola calls him, "Baby Sam" . . . you can't win them all.)  Lola had a weekend filled with babies and puppies - her two favorite things in the world, as well as a new baby doll (you guessed it . . . "Baby Sam") complete with stroller and pacifier and a brand new purse (pictured below).  She loved riding on the plane and has taken to flying on her belly with her arms out in front and saying "fly."  Another favorite travel moment: a man rushed by us to catch a flight in the Greenville airport and Lola called after him, "run, run, run."  She is becoming quite the ham.
